About Me

I've been working with Salesforce as a Developer and Architect since 2012.  For most of that time, I've worked for consulting partners of various sizes.  I'm currently with Slalom as a Solution Principal.  The title doesn't indicate this, but my day-to-day job is to work on client projects as a Technical Architect and Technical Lead, and to work with prospective clients creating technical documents for proposals and estimating team size, team composition, and project duration (all together, Level of Effort estimates).  I manage and mentor several developers, and I created the curriculum for and ran the Salesforce Academy for our Boston Cross Market Salesforce practice (with help - Thank you, Tom, Michael & Andrew!).

I have done several large Service Cloud implementations, and I have a lot of experience with real-time integrations.  I'm also good with Sales Cloud, Community Cloud, Lighting Components, Visualforce, and of course, Apex.

I have 11 Salesforce certifications (Verify me here!):
  • Administrator
  • Advanced Administrator
  • Platform App Builder
  • Platform Developer I
  • Platform Developer II
  • Sales Cloud Consultant
  • Service Cloud Consultant
  • Community Cloud Consultant
  • Data Architecture & Management Designer
  • Sharing and Visibility Designer
  • Application Architect
I'm targeting the Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer certification next.

Prior to Salesforce, I had a long career in the video game industry, working for Activision, Accolade and Infogrames (now Atari), and operating my own independent game company, Abalone Studios.  I operated the first major game company in Indonesia, Matahari Studios.

My second company, Acaji, used video game technology to create mixed reality environments to train the US military.

I received a BS in Computer Science (with honors) from the California Institute of Technology.

Read more details in my LinkedIn profile.  Sorry - I only accept connection requests if we've had a legitimate business interaction.

My hobbies include programming, piano and poker.
